GAME OF THRONES #6:The Old Gods and the New ACT 16 Chapter 2-2012

Though my favorite part may well have been Tyrion slapping Joffrey. I just can't get enough of that.

Indeed. I've already heard that one unofficial fan nickname for Tyrion is "Lord of House Snark". Maybe he could also pick up one more in line with his brother Jaime's - "The Kingslapper".

Just trying to remember if we've seen Roose Bolton in the show yet? Although pretty much everyone in the grindhous world of Westeros is a twisted sadist (except for the occasional fool whose honor goes hand-in-hand with an inevitably-fatal does of naivete), I remember him being a particularly rotten little weed.

He was in the last two episodes: He encouraged Robb to slay the prisoners in the first episode, and tonight urged Robb to let him send his bastard Ramsay to liberate Winterfelll, which I'm sure will go wonderfully.

I believe he was the guy who suggested to Robb that his bastard from the Dreadfort could retake Winterfell.

He had the exchange with Robb in the previous episode where he told him that a naked man has few secrets, while a flayed man has none. Robb then responded that flaying had been outlawed for years.

Oh. I expected the actor to speak in a more whispery voice.

One thing that I think will be a challenge will be, given how I expect things will unfold at Winterfell, how will they deal with the relationship in the third season between Roose and Robb, or more particularly, if we the audience are privy to the events at Winterfell, how will the writers maintain the element of surprise about a certain celebratory event at the end of book three, and who participates in it.
