Six Blade Knife

A good-hearted fellow comes into the possession of an otherworldly dagger, full of edges that are never the same. At first, he's pleased with his new acquisition, but as time goes on, he begins to have blank spaces in his memory... during which times hideous murders are committed. He tries to rid himself of the blade, but can't bring himself to... and the PCs become involved.

A king who was brought into rolalty as an random act of kindness by an Duke, now after years of climbing his way to the top through assanations and blackmail, now a merchant of moderate wealth has proposed a revolution, and it was a sucess. now the merchant has hired the PCs to hunt down and capture the king and his remaining gaurd.

Song: King Nothing by Metallica

After traveling thru lands thick with ancient, forgotten, overgrown ruins of some past civilization the PCs come across a huge meteor crater near what was once a major city. When next they sleep, their dreams are filled with scenes of the civilization they just walked thru the ruins of. One scene plays out and fades into the next, telling a tale of how a falling star fell to earth near the kingdom's capitol, and people investigating the crater found great wealth.. platinum, rare minerals, and a strange blue-gold ore that had fantastic properties. Thinking this a gift from the gods, the king of the land ordered the crater mined.. forcing more and more of his people into labor as his obsession with the celestial object grew. In time, a great wasting plague swept thru the lands .. a strange sickness that no magics or medicine could cure. It struck young and old, poor and rich alike, killing in great numbers in a resonably short time. Still the king mined on, blinded by greed and ambition. Shortly, the kingdom died.

When the PCs awake, then find themselves not where they had set down to sleep, but instead in buildings and locations they recognise from their dreams. They've taken the places of people from that time and place.. a traveler from another city visiting relatives.. a merchant selling cloth.. a city guard that patrolls the walls. They can still recognise eachother for who they all are, however. Shortly after they get their bearings, great news of a falling star that crashed to earth in the east two nights past begins to circulate thru the city...

Unbeknownst to the PCs they've been trapped in once-king's memories.. after he and his people died, he became a ghost.. the guilt of his folly driving him to madness. The PCs need to somehow save the dead civilization in the mind of the ghostly-king to be released.

A young sorceress is plagued by visions of the suicide of another young woman, and she asks the PCs for help finding the young woman and preventing her untimely death. Unfortunately, as they get closer to finding the young woman in the vision, the sorceress is pulled deeper into her nightmares--which, a sage tells them, can only be ended by the death of the woman in the vision. In the end, the PCs are forced to choose between the two lives, or find some way to circumvent the curse.

Galileo

A PC is suffering from bad visions and nightmares of Days Gone By and of Futures Yet To Come. The PCs stumble upon old written works hidden in some forsaken place and the PC with the visions knows of what they are talking about.

Mysterious things start happening to the PC and suddenly everything she does is mirroring the past and causing certain visions of the future to come to pass.

She needs to find a way to get to the past to figure out whats happening now to prevent the devestating future she has seen. Little does she know, two powerful forces are using her and others to play out their game from ages ago.

Omaha - Counting Crows

The PCs travel to a small farming town, in search of an old prophet that resides there. He is known for his miracles, including walking on water, as well as his truthful utterances. Great Lords and mighty kings have asked for his guidance in the past. However, his prophecies have been known cause great changes, the kind that run over everything in their path. The prophecy the PCs hear is one that could topple a kingdom. Is the old prophet simply saying what is to be, or does he have a different motive?
