Game stores in the Tampa area?

I'm headed to visit my in-laws in Homosassa/Crystal River (FL) area. We may be taking a trip to Tampa, so are there any not-to-miss game stores around Tampa?

Thanks!

There's the comics club in Brandon, i found them to be quite good for games and comics, plus the owners are wicked nice people. That makes for an all around better shopping experiance.

That's funny, My inlaws live in Homosassa and I live in the Tampa Bay area.

You could go to Frank's Trains and Hobbies. It would be closer. Good people there, books are generally cheeper there than list price. It's just about on the way depending how you travel. You could come down US 19, Mc Mullin-Booth or the Expressway.)

Emerald City Comics and games has a small store in Clearwater. (it's close to where I live.) And they have a large store in Seminole.

Saddly the large store, (Merlin's) in Tampa closed.

Merlin's is gone and I have never been to Emerald's but I am a regular at Brandon's Comics Club and they are wicked nice people;)

Ha! Are they golfers or fishers or both? That's what my inlaws and their friends do in Homosassa.

For what it's worth I've found surprising gems at Warren's Used Books. It's not a game store, but if you like books, it's worth a look when you are up visiting the IN-LAW NEXUS next time. My mother-in-law told me he moved, so I don't know where the store is now. I've found old RPGs sold for nothing, a Terry Pratchett illustrated novel for $10.00, and cool reference books. Don't know why I've had such good luck, but since I don't golf or fish, I burrow through Warren's at least twice while I'm there (and go to the nifty Indian mounds in CR).

Thanks for the info everyone! The place in Brandon sounds great, but a bit of a detour based on MapQuest. I hope I can make it though.

BTW, cross-posted this on rpg.net at the same time, zero responses.

ENworld is where it's at, baby!
