Game strores near Lancaster PA?

Anyone else 'nearby' the greater Lebanon/Lancaster/Dauphin county that would be interested in getting together one weekend for a day of gaming? I'm sure we could get Pastimes or the Guild to sponsor something for us.

Columbia here (about 20 minutes from Lancaster, smack against the Susquehanna). I'd possibly be interested if we worked something out. Only limitation is that my car crapped out on me, so I have no way there, so I'd have to be a hitcher, LOL. ;)

I'm looking for a game...any game really, but more preferrably d20modern. If you guys have open spots in games (i've played D&D for about 13 years) drop me a line in PM or via the contact info above.

I've got no game going on currently (the crop of players around here seems to have suddenly dried up or something...dang town...), but I'll keep ya in mind for when I start one back up.

Just because you own nearly everything doesn't make the selection scarse for the rest of us, LOL.

How often do you get down this way...and how do you get there?

If you come down by 22 and make the left in grantville (gravel hill road), I'm only like a mile from there.

I think I usually do come this way. Not sure what the road's called but it runs smack into 422 at Pastimes. Sometimes I'll come down Rt. 9XX (can't remember numbers here) that leads into Annville. Probably be awhile before I get to the shop after GenCon takes all my $$. :D

If you manage to get something together, feel free to email me (addy in profile).

Heya Bret

Hey Bret. I will be in the general vicinty of Lancaster the weekend of the 25th on September. My family and friends are taking a trip up to the PA Ren Faire and will be in the area Friday night through Saturday when the Faire closes.

How far away are you from the PA Ren Faire? Maybe we can hook up and actually meet Friday night or Saturday. Then I can honestly say I have actually met someone else from MEG...lol.

I've been in the York area for some time. Going to school at York College, but for the summer I'm at Hershey, working at the park. Luckly I've found some gameing stores in the area. Past Times is a nice little place, but it did seem to be mostly Wotc d20 related stuff though, but it was a good store. Although my favorate would have to be Comic Store West on rt 30. I will have to check out the Adventurers Guild though.

Has anyone been able to pick up 3.5 in the york, harrisburg area or is it not out yet since I have been hearing conflicting release dates.

This being the store I usually go to. It's pretty much evenly split between miniatures, gaming stuff, and comics. They have tables in the back too, not sure if they're open. Once in a while there's a Magic or Warhammer thing going on back there.

Which town you in, Rist?

I lived in Mount Wolf most of my life. Right now I'm in Goldsboro (bleah), but I'm moving next month... I'll likely end up somewhere in or between Dallastown and Mount Wolf.

As for those tables you mentioned, I'm fairly certain you can reserve them for gaming if you talk to one of the guys at the counter.

I also live just outside of York and would recommend Comic Store West. They are my main source of gaming material.

They definitely have a broader selection than Comix Connection. Plus, one of the guys that works there is always playing some punk/rock mix CD in the background, which generally suits my tastes. ;)

Heya Warren. I'll email ya rather than further clutter up the thread here. ;)

Maybe I could stop in the store one time you're down and have a mini-enworld gathering...of 2... :)

I'd be interested in a one shot with the guys from the board. It would be cool to play something other than DnD since that is pretty much the only thing on my plate right now, but DnD is still doable for me.

Hey Andrew, if ya decide to play I can give a lift since I'd be going past Columbia.
