Gameday? How about Gameweekend?

So we all do big gamedays, and we all go to huge conventons. How bout something inbetween.

Would you go to a game weekend, 2 days of gaming, sat and sun or fri and sat. Everyone stays overnight into the next day and stuff.

For example, if a game store with enough floor space was found and was willing to stay open the entire weekend, everyone could bring sleeping bags and their gaming goodies, and sit around gaming for 48 or so hours.

Who would actually be up for something like that?
Personally i'm aiming this question at people in NY, NJ, Conn, and Penn (for a possible Quadstate NYCish, Gameweekend). However it applies to everyone if people want to try and arrange such things elsewhere.

While the idea of gaming for 48 hours is great, have the event at a location with bathing facilities. Unless people can bathe, I don't think I'd want to be around for the second day.

We do this sometimes... Dougals parents have a hut in the mountains, we drive there on friday in the evening and game till sunday evening.

Not to disappoint you, this is my second group with the AU chars right now... but no problem

It's in the Schwarzwald, about 1 hour from Stuttgart.

I wouldn't mind gaming for two days, but I'm not in favor of camping on the floor of a game shop. I guess I've gotten a bit "rarified" in my taste since I started working normally in an actual career. Give me a hotel room please.

As a matter of fact, shadowlight and I are going up to Chicago for two days for the upcoming gamesday. But our families are going to putz around town with us on Friday, so it's still just one day of gaming per se.
