That's one of the awesomest event descriptions I've ever seen. The D&D-races/d20M mash-up is just icing on the cake.

Thanks

Hey thanks everyone,

I am just a big time Grindhouse fan and the Black Rock adventure was something I ran in the past. It's cool, but I'm taking it to another level!

I thought to add in the Eberron Races, because nothing is cooler than a Warforged walking into a room (w/ Adamantine Body) in a Black & White Suit bringing down the pain with a Desert Eagle .50!

I also added some 4th Ed Char Gen Rules (No Racial Penalites...) I might mess around with some encounter powers, but nothing promised

So how did you convert the Warforged to d20 Modern? Was there any problems?

Also, are you going to have super-patriotic Hero-villains like Bruce Willis or cool-but-turns-out-to-be-a-sissy murderous villains like uh...celebrity name escapes me (the guy from Deathproof)

Conversion

Well the only problems with the conversions was with the feats, but it wasn't a big deal. The many feats you recieve with D20 Modern characters is good. The only problem was the shifter, but I straightened it out.

The 4th ed mechanics I used are the stat bonuses (+2 on phys/mental attributes, no penalties)

I will keep them pretty much the same except the warforged doesn't get the light fortification, but no penalities from healing spells.

It's been interesting.

BTW, The villian in Deathproof was in fact Kurt Russell.

Ok peg me in an AM slot.

Freakshow D&D D20

Come one. Come all. But only if you are a freak.

It is the town of Southwich's annual freakshow.

All you have to do to be crowned the fair's champion(s) is survive one night in Fern's house err crypt err dungeon. Whatever you wanna call the thing.

Btw, Fern is a Half-Orc Archmage.

Characters will be provided. Expect peculiar race/class mixes but not hopeless ones.

Dammit, Daniel! Ya make me show a bit of steel (and monkey!) last night with Danse Macabre (v1.65), now you have me wanting to finish up the d100 game by the 26th...

But, J--, D-- and I are soooooooooooo there for the Grindhouse... And if we're there already I might as well ask - any open afternoon slots still?
