How do you think I feel? I have a horrible self image! I'm a green and blue monkey with glasses!

:Fathead pouts in a corner and nibbles on an over-ripe banana

green and blue monkey with glasses = super adorable!

I know when I was younger I always thought I was the ugliest thing - it didn't help that my mom believed my hair was a great place to experiment on the most hideous of hairstyles. *shudders* and always conviently before the required school picture. (thus my lingering dislike of displaying my own picture - ugh the memories!)

Kitana...my mom made me get a poodle perm in the 6th grade... that was the year the torment was the worst. >shudder< Glad to know I wasn't the only one...

i can't imagine HBO wanting to do this special edition of the show.

They'll just replace us with body builders and skinny supermodels, get them all drunk in one house together with one of those *Smart boards, get Madonna to do the theme song, have MTV handle production...

The worst was 7th grade...get this, my hair is really long - waist length. My mom in her infinite wisdom decided to give me bangs and some volume to the bangs cuz my hair is also thick so the top tends to go flat. It is near the end of the 80's and big hair was still so in.

So she took the entire top section of my hair, chopped it to about 2 inches and left the rest long. Then permed those 2 inches with those tiny little curlers to within an inch of their life - leaving my hair very dry.

I looked like I was wearing a cross between a mullet and a poodle.

and to add insult to injury, the next day I go take my yearbook picture for posterity's sake.

*holds face in hands and whimpers*

People stop by my cage and take pictures of me all the time! It's very embarassing when you are grooming yourself and someone snaps a picture of you. We monkeys have it rough! *grin*

On a serious note though - to me, mental stimulation can go a long way toward someone's attractiveness. Things that are considered "geeky", I find to be FAR more appealing in someone.

*grin* Yearbooks are wonderful for keeping us humble.

Been into martial arts most of my life, but in the last few years, I've been rotting at a desk in front of a computer.

I've got to get back in shape.
