Gamer Chic

Hmm, I like to wear my biker leather. Not exactly 100% RPG stuff.
As a fellow Biker I can understand. In the states it Sooo Chic to be a biker Poser and wear the leathers without earning the right. Are you a member of a Motercycle club?

(Hey this is a great Idea for a thread... What are your Hobbies outside RPGs?)

No real club member... The elder guys I hanged out with were "ex" Bikers, most of them married and their club was closed 15 years ago.

the real question is who wears a cape or cloak?

I have two. Well, one is more of a really long shawl, I suppose, because it's knit out of grey wool. The other one though, is an honest to god cloak, complete with hood. I've had it for about 15 years. It's getting a tad worn, but I love it. I wear it regularly during the fall and even the winter if it isn't too cold.

Okay people... I work at a Ren Faire. And I just wanna say that a chainmail bikini is like spandex...

It's a privilege, not a right.
(I'm not talking about you Djeta, from the pictures I've seen, you've earned the privilege... I, on the other hand, have a few pounds to go. :D )

The best part is when you see these girls... And they think they're being SO risqué, wearing a chainmail bikini without something under the top... So you just know they're prolly not wearing sun block as well...

So, D... don't forget the sunblock. :D

Haha. This post actually had me cracking up because I used to live directly across from a beach , heavily populated with teen girls who thought they were being all sexy in their string bikini's but by 1 pm on any given summer saturday, they'd be at the beach medical center with sunburns....And the women (and men) wearing those itty bitty swimsuits that they, well, just shouldn't...

I actually want the chainmail for part of a costume that will include more than *just* chainmail. The chainmail is just a starting point. :)

I wear alot of faded jeans, t-shirts and those trendy casual euro-style dress-shirts (70's collar, vertical stripes etc). I wear alot of trendy shoes as well, mostly those running shoe / dress shoe hybrids.

However, when I am at home I am ALWAYS in Pyjamas. I own like 1 million pairs of PJ pants. Throw on a pair and combine it with a T shirt.......that is quite possibly the most comfortable outfit in the world.

Cheers,

Gregor, you rock. I agree; I'm all about flannel. But only if I know for sure I'm not going back out; I hate changing too many times!

For shoes, I usually wear a pair of slip on moccasin type thingies. My wife is always up in arms that they're supposed to be house shoes, but I can't be bothered to tie my shoes anymore. :p

Then one day I left it in reach of my three ferrets (all now deceased :( ) and that was the end of that.

They're expensive to replace, cloaks.

Wow. I guess you were pretty pissed about the cloak, huh.

Personally, I'd have just killed one of them (probably strangling him with one of the cloak tatters) and left him behind as a lesson to the other two. But I can respect the violent frame of mind that you must have been in. And once you start killing ferrets, it's hard to stop.

I kid. I kid. I kid because I love!
