Gamer-Geek Reprsentative Fighting Breast Cancer!

Hey gang, I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I am taking on the "official" role of being the RPG Gaming Geek representative again this year for a annual event called How Not to Grow A Beard Month (HoNoToGroABeMo).

The idea is that a bunch of geeks from around the internet gather once a year, shave on Nov. 1st and don't shave until the end of the month. We take regular pics and post our pithy thoughts along the way and people sponsor us (because money fertilizes facial hair).

All money raised goes to Breast Cancer Research.

I am easily the biggest RPG Geek of the bunch so coming to the site to sponsor me both means that you like RPGs and also that you support women and like breasts.

Ha ha. It's funny you should mention this. I'm actually doing a fundraiser for Cancer research involving growing a beard - but mine is more of a "let's see how absolutely ridiculous we can get Wik to look, and then give him money!". I'm shaving pac man into my beard, and a pacman ghost.

Didn't realize this was, like, a normal thing.

Oh yeah, this is the third year of HoNoToGroABeMo...and honestly I did a similar charity for the homeless at my last school for two years before that. Next year you'll have to join us. Just shoot me an email to remind me about mid-October.

Will do. I already have about three hundred bucks in pledges if I make it through the month. And when I get the pac man beard, I'm gonna try to leverage it for more money.
