Sadly, she passed away this past Veteran's Day and I've been having a hard time getting back into the game. She was a great supporter of everything I did and gaming just doesn't seem to have the same joy as it did when I had someone to show an interest in my enjoyment of the game (even if she didn't participate or really know anything about the game).

I don't want to de-rail the thread, but I think it's important, if you have a significant other, that they at least support your gaming habits. It's no fun to have them constantly at odds with it; it does take up a significant amount of time, after all. Especially if you're the DM.
