Gandalf as a Paladin?

Ranger REG said:
No. Fighter first, unless the Valar sent him down as an already high-level character. But honestly, there has to be a certain level of Fighter class to be that proficient with sword and staff (one-handed).
He's got one level of Ranger. ;)

Well, he's not one to hate orcs with a passion, mind you.
I don't necessarily look at the Ranger as "I hate those things with a passion". I look at it as "I'm really really good at hunting those things".

Orcs are 1 cr chump, any high level character can get it done against them:)

Gandalf could be a paladin. He definate ain't no high level wizard (I think the best I see in lord of teh rings is daylight, 3rd level spell:)

He's obviously a Psychic Warrior with the Half-Replicant template, and four dots in Melee.

But still, the Enterprise would win.

-- N, not really seeing the point of cross-dressing Gandalf
