Gargantuan Orcus out in March per Amazon

Assuming this theory is correct, what sort of Gargantuan beings does Orcus hang out with?

Gargantuan Grazzt, Gargantuan Demogorgan, Gargantuan Bel, Gargantuan Dispater, Gargantuan Asmodeus, Gargantuan Mephistopheles...

I've yet to use my Aspect of Orcus *as* Orcus (aspect or not)... I imagine the G-rated version won't be much different. If you can't use a gargantuan Pitfiend-type... you're just not trying :p

Personally, I'd rathered they released the Gargantuan White & Gargantuan Green dragons first before moving on to Outsiders.

*Off-topic*
I know the DDM players worship them. They have lists of which exact sizes of which colors are missing, etc. However, I'm sick to death of dragons (at least the iconic metallic & chromatic ones). I'd rather they limit them in the DDM sets to one "classic" dragon and maybe one non-standard dragon (say a gem dragon) per set. I certainly don't want to see another icon until they've added some dimension to the line.

As much as I want to see (and buy) this thing, I'm equally interested in the backstory for Orcus' size. Let's hope it's more than just an "enlarge demonlord" spell.

And yeah, a gargantuan Demogorgon would have been too convenient; Wizards might have looked on it as another endorsement of Greyhawk?

The Tarrasque would be a good one, too. As would a gargantuan green dragon. Or Dragotha. Now that would be freakin' cool.

I'd get more use out of a gargantuan Orcus than the Tarrasque. I might user the Orcus as a statue in a temple of Orcus. I wouldn't have a statute of the Tarrasque in my game.

That just gave me a great idea for a cult of Tarrasque worshippers! :D

There is an AWESOME thread about a city built around an imprisoned Terrasque over on RPG.net. Worth some Google-Fu to dig out; it's one of the best setting ideas I've ever come across.

Oh, and I want a big ass green dragon for my Midwood campaign, WotC.

I'm not particularly interested in things in the CR15+ range in general, quite honestly. D&D's still pretty wonky at those levels -- and very hard to run due to prep time -- that I think WotC should be casting around at the lower CRs for some potential Icons.

A Kraken timed with the release of PotC3 would have been a very smart play, an Icon Hydra set (with or without detachable necks) would have been an even smarter one, and a set of several Huge demon lords(or archdevils) would have been a much better idea than one Gargantuan Orcus. Icon sets don't have to be dragons, but they don't necessarily have to be Gargantuan+, either, especially when it doesn't make much sense.

There will be a Gargantuan White in the Drizz't boxed set - Icingdeath (along with Wulfgar and Drizz't). No word on a Gargantuan Green though.

Mcfarlane toys recently made a very nice green gargantuan dragon. The bipeds on his base can pop off easy enough and TBH his pose could work well for flight or ground.

This month or next, Mcfarlane toys will be releasing a Garantuan dracolich in Dragons series 6.

This october there will be an ice dragon from that company. Sadly the wings are too small.
