Gargantuan Orcus out in March per Amazon

There will be a Gargantuan White in the Drizz't boxed set - Icingdeath (along with Wulfgar and Drizz't). No word on a Gargantuan Green though.

I'd really hoped for Cyan Bloodbane as a gargantuan green, with Raistlin and a few others, but instead I get to not buy an Orcus.

I've never been a fan of Orcus myself, I'd rather they did an Aboleth, or Zuggtmoy, heck, if done right I'd rather have Demogorgon or Kyuss, and I have no intention of using either AP.

I know it's silly, but I'd also wonder at walking into Borders and seeing a big demon lord complete with lair and such with "Dungeons and Dragons" scribbled across it. Not a big deal anymore, but still iffy.

A Satanic Panic! might boost sales and attention for D&D.

Though maybe wotc has seen that the toy sized dragon market has stiff competition ATM. Not too many companies are coming out with Demon lord of the Undead action figures though.

The peculiar posture of the Gargantuan Black, the barfing fire of the Collosal Red and 'Uge 'Ead! of the Gargantuan Blue have not endeared them to folks who require more than a D&D logo to sell the product.

I've seen much worse. Have you seen McFarlane's Twisted Wizard of Oz series? Admittedly, I'm not sure I've seen it in Borders, but I have seen it in mainstream music stores.

You'll get to judge for yourself at GenCon.

You would be right..but I'm not able to attend GenCon. Therefore I'll have to wait until pictures are up on the Net.

But trust me Scott, if the sculpts are close to what's been done in recent sets, I'll be moderately happy.

You know, I was just considering what WotC could do to branch out their Icons set away from dragons, and avatars of Demogorgon or Orcus seemed to make the most sense. It's discoveries like this thread that make me seriously consider sollipsism as a creed.

Time to dust off Dead Gods. It'll make a nice follow-up to Expedition to the Demonweb Pits.

I thought Orcus was sized as Huge as well.

Hmmm....I'll have to check when I go home for lunch if someone doesn't check beforehand.
I'm willing to buy into the notion that vastly powerful entities that can control the fabric of entire dimensions can grow as large as they wish to.

Word from the Assoc Brand Manager is that it is "incorrect product info." The question is what is incorrect. Perhaps Orcus isn't Gargantuan?
