Today is Gary Gygax's birthday. As you probably know, Gary was one of the two co-creaters of Dungeons & Dragons in the 1970s, and sadly passed away in 2008. Be sure to check out EN World's History of TSR, which includes a lot of material related to Gary (from interviews to his epic Q&As right here on EN World, which I've listed below). More importantly, those threads were compiled into a book called Cheers, Gary! which you could buy from the Gygax Memorial Fund (I think they're sold out now, though).

The Gygax Memorial Fund is a charity set up by Gail Gygax "to commission and place a memorial in a public park of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, to honor Gary Gygax by commemoration of literary achievement in the creation of Dungeons & Dragons and other published works".
