GBA Strategy Games?

Not a console fan ("PTUI!!!") but a newbie GBA fan.

Do you know of any good RPG I can play on my GBA?
If you're into Action RPGs then Castelvania: Circle of the Moon & Aria of Sorrow are the two of the best I've ever played, the 2nd in particular it perhaps better than Symphony of the Night on many levels. (Harmony of Dissonence, however, was very lack-luster IMHO).

They aren't even remotely rpg's. Action game, yes. Adventure games, sure. RPG's, not at all.

I dunno - the GBA Castlevanias seem to have RPG elements, like levels, hit points, equipment, etc, like Symphony of the Night did. So I think you can call them action-rpgs. Albeit more focus on action than story.

By that logic Metroid almost qualifies as an RPG ;)

On a more "serious" note, I've heard that Nintendo is going to announce the next chapter in the Fire Emblem saga next month. Woo!

Mario & Luigi Superstar Saga! How did I forget that, I've only been playing it for most of the past month.

Levels, hit points, and equipment don't make something a role-playing[ game. By those standards Panzer General would be an rpg.

And it's the Metroid style thos Castlevania games imitate to begin with.

Any chance there will be a geopolitical strategy game, both semi-historical or semi-modern, for GBA?

I haven't heard of any...but I did see some imports that were. Koei makes a few ancient to medieval games...just gotta learn another (and very difficult) language.
