GEN CON Registration

I have been out of the circuit for afew years, and last I heard there was only 1 GenCon a year, and that one in Lake Geneva.

Whoa, you must have a loose definition of "a few years", given that GenCon hasn't actually been in Lake Geneva since around 1980... ;)

When and where exactly is the So Cal GenCon? Since I'll be missing the indy one obviously. PC...I need to go visit my brother in CT just over the NY line, and that would be a good time to visit Boston, I'll let you know when I figure out a timeline for that so we can have a beer. Thanks for the info!

If you run enough events, I think you can get reimbursed for your badge, or even housing.

Now, is that enough? Depends. For me? No. I DM alot. I wouldn't mind DMing 1 or 2 games for fellow ENWorlders, but beyond that, I'm there to play.

In 2003, I put a sign-up sheet at the ENW booth, and nobody signed up. I didn't really get anything ready last year, and ended up scrapping another pickup game. However this year, I'm already ready.

EDIT: Hey! Wait a minute! We've had this conversation before!!!! http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=79479

Well, yes we have had a discussion on it before, but no one answered my followup question regarding actual reimbursement. I'll read the pdf that was supplied and see what it says.

The thing is, I've decided that I rather enjoy running games at conventions because:
A) I become a better GM
B) end up having more fun, because if the game sucks, I have no one to blame but myself!
