2 round events?

Can anyone explain the 2-round RPGA Living Events in the checkout system?

Example: LG Endgame is detailed as a 2-round event, but it shows only one title "Endgame" and shows a cost of $3 and 4 hours. Where's part 2?

Same for Living Dragonstar "Vae Victus".

And the D&D Open.

I assumed for the Open you have to "advance" to the next round, so only having round 1 signups is okay...

But I've not heard of Living Events requiring advancement.

Any ideas?

Kkoie: yes, you have to be in RPGA. It's free and you can register and get a number at the con or on-line. Very painless.

re: generic tickets

I was poking around the GEN CON website, and if you view the catalog for thursday and check "game type" Gen Con sponsored event, you get the option of buying generic tickets.

Thanks, Thaumaturge!
I got one. That just put my mind at ease!

I just want to say how much EN World rocks! This is our first GenCon, and you guys have been a huge help!

Thanks!

Sadly, many of the times for the RPGA events are incorrect. If you look at the D&D Open on Thursday (the first one in the list), it shows up as lasting 12 hours (from 8am to 8pm). Additionally, you'll find many events that last from 8am-8am. Somehow, I don't think that is correct. :)

If anyone can get a hold of the D&D Open schedule, let me know...I'd like to know when the advancement slots are...

A pdf of the schedule was uploaded to several of the yahoo groups, I found it at the GreenRegent one.

the open (on that pdf file) shows round 2 Sat 12:30 and 5 pm, slots 10 and 11.

round 3 is sunday 8 am.

still don't understand the 2 part living events, but maybe that will clear up soon as well.
