Genasi as template

Anyone know where I can find a decent write up of the 6 basic Genasi races as a template to be applied to a base race rather than an actual seperate race??

Six basic genasi? AFAIK, there's only the four (air, earth, fire, water). What are the other two you're referring to?

Possibly Tiefling and Aasimar? I know they're Planetouched, technically, but that could've been it.


Anyway, I haven't seen this kind of template, so far.

The closest I have seen is Aasimar and Tiefling, from Green Ronin.
It covers Planetouched in general, and discusses creating elemental planetouched among others.

Also, you might check out Unearthed Arcana's elemental-race variants. Not quite the same, but perhaps close to what you want.

However, since the Genasi are not open content, I don't think you will see anything from 3rd parties that are specific to them.

Yes, I was lumpin the Aasimar & Tiefling in with the 4 elemental Genasi and probably should have rephrased this as the 6 basic planetouched races.

Thanks for the links that is exactly what I was looking for. They seem a little TOO powerful for a simple +1 ECL but I cna work with that.

AND, I really like Kismet's website. I love purusing other folks campaign websites for any subject.

Just take their racial traits and apply them as a template for +2 LA.

The reason normal Planetouched are +1 LA is because they're applied to a Human-- but without any of the Human's racial traits. Figure that's worth knocking a level off.

I can see no way of justifying a +2 la. The planetouched barely warrant a +1 la as it is.
