Thats not how creative development works. You don't know if an idea is genuinely bad until you iterate on it.
That is a gross generalization. Some ideas sound good but you only need to see them implemented once in order to realize that they are in fact bad. I'm not sure what kind of creative development work you do, but I would be shocked if you have never encountered this phenomenon before.

If you give up after a single attempt you're not developing anything at all. It doesn't matter what it is.

And I think you're also conflating ideas with executions. You can tell if an execution is a dead end on the first go. That doesn't mean the idea is a dead end.
 

There is no way they are going to get through that many packets before the 2024 books right? This is going to have to be after the release tweaks, probably to online tools
Well, we are getting Packet 7 in a couple weeks, then probavly 8 in October, and finishing up the PHB tests with 9 in December. That gives a good 6-8 months before the new PHB drops, which h is plenty of time for them to finish that up and print.

Then they put out at least 1 packet in Q1, maybe 2 or 3, and that's plenty of time to finish the other two by Christmas.
