[GenCon] Got yer pass yet?

Just wondering if anyone out there had gotten their GenCon pass yet? I keep gazing longingly at the mailbox, but no luck yet....

I thought my family, whom I left in charge of getting me all ready for GenCon while I'm over here, had taken care of that...but today I got an email saying I hadn't been preregistered yet, and there are only five days left! *panics*

I was thinking it was going to be pick up at site this year.

If they send them out it will be after reg closes, first or second week.

Nope - none here either. I suspect that the whole process will (ONCE AGAIN!) be a complete farce and cluster f*ck. Way to go, Gencon.

That said, I'm really looking forward to it!

Should start showing up sometime in the next 2 weeks.

I was wondering about that the other day. And I couldn't remember if I had requested "will call" or not, but I didn't think that I had. So, that's a relief. I'll be looking for it!

On a side note, anyone know if they'll actually have our names on them this year? I was really disappointed with them last year, not having our names on them.

While I suffered through some event registration snafu's, and the GenCon folks weren't as proactive in their offerings of help as I would have liked, I must say that they fixed everything in the end. I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt with respect to admission pass distribution...until July 11th that is !!

Here's hoping that things go smoothly from here on in.
