[GenCon] Someone check my math - Airfare.

Could someone here go to www.flyforless.com and check on how much a round trip flight from ATL to IND is? That's Atlanta to Indianapolis. I checked a flight, leaving August 26, returning August 30, and it says, round trip, it'd be $89.40. That's just . . . that's so ridiculously cheap, I can't imagine it's real, but if it is, I might just see about going to GenCon on the cheap, and mooching off Jake and Denise (Hellhound and Dextra, from E.N. Publishing) for board.

Please, tell me I made a mistake. I can't afford to spend any money on GenCon, but this gives me hope I'm afraid to listen to.

Looks like you can get a flight under $90 if you are using United Airlines and you are willing to make it into a 4 hour flight.

Might be good for you budget!

Well, I made a slight booboo. I was checking fares that were a week after the con. But still, mysteriously enough, the price is the same for Aug 19 to Aug 23. I gotta ask my friends and such about whether me running off like this will disrupt anything, but hell, I just might do it.

I might need to volunteer at the Con, though.

I seem to recall Joe Goodman mentioning he had some complimentary judges badges, though that was several months ago. I imagine it's a bit late for me to cash in on that, and it's also a bit too late to volunteer. Well, I can spare . . . what, $70? *sigh*

I do want to do this. Maybe I can see if I can get some friends in on this.

Heck, I even checked the United Airlines website. This seems legit. But I do have to book my flight today.

I wish I weren't so tightly budgeted. Well, I'll just have to make sure I convince 80 people to buy ENPub products while I'm at the con.
