GENCON: Where are you staying?

Well, its time to start grabbing up the good realestate at GenCon before we are shut out in the cold!

Last year I lucked out and got a great place at the Embassy. Looks like I am doing the same this year.

Where is everyone else staying?

EDIT: It just occured to me that we could put together an enworld hotel directory. If you want it to be publicly known which hotel you are at (and nothing more) post here and I will print (or put on a website) somthing up for the con.

I stayed at the Omni Severin, which was quite nice as they were a stone's throw from the bus station. They seemed quite good, though they were pricey, and while they did have a skywalk to the center, it was quite circuitous. I'm also somewhat dubious since they mis-ran my debit card, accidently over-charging me and leaving me bankrupt for half a day while they fixed the error.

Really, I need to check what's available and see how it looks.

I like em cause I can call them, and they will send a CAR to pick me up. Not a TAXI. The CAR is a flat rate ($20) and the drivers will floor it if you are late to the airport because you were talking to SKR in the dealers room too long on Sunday. They have a free breakfast which is pretty decent if you get an omelette and avoid the bready stuff. They have free drinks in the evening. The service was nice, and the rooms are pretty good.

Not going this year, but last year was at the Hyatt and it was great, a very short walk and into the con, price was very good two of us in the room about 80ish/night for 4 nights two queen sized beds, frig in the room, free internet connection. The only down side, parking was 20/day!

I'm staying at the Westin Indianappolis with Archon, The_Universe, and Queen Dopplepoppolis.

Depends. At the moment, I have a room reserved at the Days Inn, roughly 3/4 of a mile from the con. I'd like to stay closer, and I may if I can get a good deal through the GenCon hotel system (assuming the site's ever up and running), but I'm not counting on it.

Myself, my son, and two members of our gaming group will be staying at the Crowne Plaza Hotel...
