Having been to Gen Con the last two years (and having been gaming since 1980), I'm very disappointed I couldn't go this year. On the plus side, last year I took my wife and 5 year old daughter to Indianapolis with me. I went to Gen Con, while they went to the Children's Museum and the Zoo. We absolutely LOVE Indianapolis, and we're not even race fans. Heh heh, I've got them hooked! Seriously, if we didn't have so much family in Michigan, I would be very tempted to take the bar in Indiana and get a law job down here. It would be weird though, to say I'm an Indianian (is that what you call yourselves? Or is it just Hoosiers? )

We've been back to town twice this year to check out the museum and zoo again. So I casually dropped into conversation that I want to hit Gen Con 2008, and my wife didn't even bat an eye. So here comes 12 months of scrimping and saving my mad money so I can have a blowout next year. Yeah me!
