Yes, the constructor offers several powerful options for astral constructs, but also pays with manifester levels. For astral constructs, an increase in level is a big increase in power, so I think it´s balanced that way. And the possiblity of the utility construct is (or would be) covered by the Astral Servant power.

Cool

KO, take a peak in the shared crafting thread, I believe I remembered the origional KB proposal that was approved for sharing crafting.

We'll also need some place to potentialy park new Psionic powers.

It's interesting looking at the deity list and noting the number of followers eaach god has

The greater gods only have 3 followers total
The god with the greatest number of followers is Grendath, a lesser god, with 26.
Second is Mongrel, a demigod with 15.
Third is Verdante, a lesser god with 12.
Fourth is a tie between Hyrag, a lesser god, and Phyrah, a demigod, with 10.
Sixth are the Mortalists with 9.

Five gods have no followers among the PCs. Four are evil, with Halor being neutral. Three of those evil gods are also race-specific.

I say there should be a shake-up in the pantheon. I demand lesser godship for Phyrah. :D

Interesting observations... I tend to think that power level should be somewhat affected by number of followers... I'd be inclined to suggest Intermediate god-hood for Grendath, by sheer democracy.

While I'd agree with you in theory, 26 adventurers does not an intermediate deity make.

Remember that adventurers are rarely, if ever, an accurate sampling of the general population.

Well, we may need to shake up the pantheon a bit, simply because up untill I wrote 3 up, there were no gods beyond lesser. Moving a few "popular" ones up to intermediate might balance the system a bit more.

Secondly, the Panteon was missing some of the more prominent gods untill the greater gods were created (Sky, Earth, Fertility, and there are no major gods of Nature, Death, or Magic at the moment either). The pantheon was created in a mish-mosh way, so it looks a little odd. I may spend some time reviewing the deities and make some suggestions and proposals to flesh them out a bit.

However, this is also the reason for the low worshipers of the greater gods. They're new on the scene (Not in the world ultimately, just in the RL time sense).

Oddly, Mongrel actualy has an entire cultural following in the Freefolk, though they don't worship him per say (many choose too, but most don't directly). Also, he was one of the more fleshed out gods in terms of the practices, views, and background. Plus, as a cleric, he's one of the better ones to follow because he has some of the "best" domains (Luck and Travel are considered 2 of the more powerful domains for those that care about it in that way), and his favored weapon is a bastard sword.

I don´t think the "odd" distribution of patron gods among adventurers is bad in any way, since their worries rarely match those of the common folk. Commoners will be thinking about growing crop, their animals and rain, while the common adventurer will be thinking on not being eaten by a monster, increasing his fighting prowess or battling undead.

DMs should have to care about background in their games, though: more important gods should be worshipped more frequently by NPCs.
