Not sure if this is the place to do so, however I wouldnt see where else :).

After more than a year of being inactive (in both LEW and real D&D) I've finally found some time again to participate in this game. I've sent the update of my character (amazing that it was still there) to the judges and should be able to go back to action rather soon, though this time I'll focus on 1 character only (maybe some remember her, Irene the illusionist, with a knack of getting in trouble).

So this post is mostly a hello/I'm back post, and at the same time an enquiry if there were any major changes in LEW structure? As far as I could tell it's more or less the same as when I left, though I might have missed some stuff while skimming through the insane amount of text.

Yay welcome back Venus! Don't know if Tenebrynn and the others will be able to track Irene down at the moment, though having her rescue them would be hilarious. (they have been captured by a bunch of goblins, a black dragon, and her progeny a sorceror(?) bent on destroying Monemvassia).

And yes, Someone, I think we can leave those out (like the Psionic Theuge).

A meeting between Irene and Ashnar would be interesting, I think... Well, there have been some changes in detail, nothing of which I think affects your character. The judge list has changed. Time XP and Craft points underwent some changes (or were you still here for the Time XP change?). DMs now gain DM Credits for running adventures. A few more stuff was approved, including the job system.

Welcome back Venus. Every time Nurlan stops off in Monemvassia he inquires whether there's been any news of Irene.

I'm thinking about a small update to the recommended character sheet (and plan to finally attach it in the character thread). It would look something like the following. Comments? Omissions?

I'd suggest using my advancement notes. I put them in an sblock to hide them, but they're nice and hopefully make it easier for judges so see the changes between levels and track things.
L## -> CLASS ## HP: +## (HD+CON+OTHER) SP: +## (CLASS+INT+OTHER) PP: +## (Class+ATB+Other) [Left out when not needed, also could simply be a new total instead of a bonus]
SKILL +RANKS, SKILL +RANKS
Feat: FEAT(s)
Spells Known: SPELL
Powers Known: POWER
Other: OTHER NOTES

Examples from my sheets.
L3 -> Ranger 2 HP: +7 (6+1) SP: +9 (6+2+1)
KN: Geography +4, Ride +1, KN: Nature +3, Hide +1
Feat: Weapon Finesse

L2 -> Fighter 2 HP: +9 (7+2) SP: +4 (2+2)
Ride +1, Handle Animal +1, Intimidate +2
Fighter Feat: Spirited Charge

L3 -> Psychic Warrior 3 HP: +9 (6+1+2(feat)) SP: +5 (2+2+1) PP: +3 ( +2 +1)
Concentration +1, Autohypnosis +2, Craft: Weapon +1, Craft: Armor +1
Feat: Psicrystal
Psionic Power: Force Screen

I'd also suggest adding a Personality spot that goes with the background and description. Not everyone will fill it out, but not everyone fills out the other two either.

I think domains fit better with Spells Prepared. Only clerics have them. I already put Craft points where you have them, so I'm fine with that. Does "Xth level increase went to XXX" refer to the stat increase every four levels? If so, add the word "Stat" before "increase."

Welcome back Venus. The old party has split up but we're still around.

I think damage reduction and spell resistance are rare enough they hardly deserve inclusion near the top of the CS. I'd drop them & bump up craft points and the ability increase notes. But whatever.

Venus, I'm glad you're back. Aren't persistant worlds awesome! And considering how flexible time is in LEW, we should get going again. I'll admit to loving Irene, and missing her. She was so much fun to DM. Let's get started right where we left off. See if you can dig up the M2.5 - Irene Alone, its your turn to post. We'll finish that up, I'll assign XPs, and Irene can return to the Inn. I haven't used Jezibel since, but I'd like to do so again, so wrapping up that adventure is important. Of course, I probably won't give Irene full XP credit for time spent adventuring.... ;)
