Hi, I might like to play...

I have only played a few times with my brothers before they joined the army. It was fun but confusing.

Do you think if I described what character I wanted someone could make one for me?

Karam, I think if you need help to create your character, you are at the good place. Think of an interesting concept, and people here will help you giving you hint on teh system and Linving EnWorld (LEW) world.

Help with geography

I am trying to think my way through a vignette. As conceived it would take place along the road from Orussus to Rivenblight. I have browsed the thread recompilation thread and come away with the following information:

Rivenblight is 250 miles from Orussus.
There are a number of Inns within 25-50 miles of Orussus.

My questions deal with the nature of the road from about 75 miles from Orussus to Rivenblight.

First, from the map, Rivenblight does appear to be about 250 miles from Orussus, but the road does not take a straight course. The road between Orussus and Rivenblight appears to be closer to 350 miles.

Second, are there any significant land marks, or settlement on the road between Orussus and Rivenblight? I am not refering to things which are arrived at by taking a turn off, but objects that lie along the road.

Third, are the any major forks in the road between Orussus and Rivenblight?

I don't think anything we've ever done specifically explored that area. Several adventures have passed through it, but pretty much every interaction a party has had took place either closer to Orussus or closer to Rivenblight.

It probably wouldn't be too far-fetched to imagine inns being a day's travel apart. I think that was the justification for the inns that you probably saw in the recompilation thread...those came from the adventure Rivenblight's Castaway, and that was the justification for them being there.

Second, are there any significant land marks, or settlement on the road between Orussus and Rivenblight? I am not refering to things which are arrived at by taking a turn off, but objects that lie along the road.

There is the turnoff to Apple Glade which is well marked, but aside from that, I'm not aware of anything.

Eventually, you get to the Silverwood, but aside from that the details of the journey have not been fleshed out.

Third, are the any major forks in the road between Orussus and Rivenblight?

None that I'm aware of. Now, minor forks, feel free to add those as desired.

There is an inn one days travel from Orussus that two adventures have used: Of Eggs and Desires (which ended prematurely) and Ransom for Retirement (which I DM'd). There were a few minor NPCs at the inn.

Because I fall on tha glossary on the WotC website, where they have included all the Fearun domian. For example, here the Moon domain, which is in no srd...
