No doubt you are right--you need to hone those skills to succeed at the job--I suggest playing an evil-aligned character for a while

Sucsess, after an hour or so with the tech people I'm ship-shape(except that high picth squeal... )

The tech support people were overly nice and got the job done, the only bad part was I could barely understand their accent... now on to the important stuff...
