And of course, all of the above (Well , the last 3) will blame you for their ignorance.

Well, that one we have in common. :) Not being competitve, but just because it's funny:

Here are the first few that occur to me:

1. A 21 year old woman who, when asked why she shoplifted items from a store, answers in tones precicely equivalent to a 3 year old's whine "I don't know!"

2. Absolutely anyone charged with "inhaling toxic vapors." Sure, melt your brain... excellent recreational activity! Meth could go here to, I suppose, but paint thinner seems even dumber to me.

3. "Hey, officer, want a donut?"
"No thank you sir, but since you are loitering in the area I *would* like to see your ID."
Produces an ID. It's a work release prisoner jail ID.
"Aren't you supposed to be either at work or in jail right now? I'm going to have to search you."
*Finds pot, makes arrest.*

-- the next day, same location --

Looks up. "Oh, &^*^ it's that cop again." Throws a baggie into the bushes and tries to walk off.
"Wait a moment, Sir." Stops Defendant, retrieves bag containing more pot... and makes yet another arrest.

And just in general: Your dumb people have at least got their lives in order to the point where they can purchase products. I've got people who can't even function on that level. Those stories aren't as funny, and are sort of sad, so I'll skip them.

And one final point:

Buddy, if she was standing on that street corner and had all of her teeth *OF COURSE* she was a cop!

\Rules Question:The rules for crafting seem to have been put in place while I've been gone. Any idea who I would talk to about getting my crafting done during my time between my adventure in Stonepike and now. Not really certain what I would craft . . . or if I should deduct craft points for the things I crafted, etc.
Well, we have craft points in place until such time as there is a change (refer to the rules and mechanics thread, stickied at the top of the LEW page). Calculate your craft points, deduct as needed for what you want to craft, and note them on your character sheet. I suppose if you want to dot the last i and cross the last t, email Nimisgod and ask him to approve your accounting.

Thanks,

Will do. Now to determine what the heck to craft . . . .

Not being competitve, but just because it's funny:
The police receive a call that a sidewalk holdup has occurred, and within 20 minutes a squad car is in the area (the robber fled, but they're cruising the neighborhood, just in case). Officer spots an individual on foot a couple of streets away from the location of the robbery who matches the description of the culprit. Officer parks the car, calls to the individual, "Come here for a minute...I want to talk to you."

Multiple choice quiz! Did the suspect:

A. Point to himself and say, "Who? Me?"
B. Immediately turn and attempt to flee on foot.
C. Act nervous and ask, "What's this all about?"
D. Point to his shirt and say, "I'm not the guy you're looking for, that was my cousin, he just robbed this guy and changed clothes with me. These are not my clothes!"

Ok, let's try another one. A squad car follows a pickup (at a distance) into a deserted construction area at 2:00 am. The pickup stops and the two passengers get out, and manhandle a large generator into the bed of the pickup. They get back in and the pickup starts to leave. The officer approaches and turns on his emergency lights, signaling for the pickup to stop. The passengers rapidly exit and flee on foot.

Multiple choice! Did the driver say:

A. "Don't shoot! I give up!" (With hands clearly visible)
B. "Thank God you're here...they were going to force me to go to an ATM and clean out my bank account next!"
C. Nothing (but attempt to flee on foot).
D. "Oh, those guys? No, I don't know them. They told me they needed a lift...then they said they just got done working a construction job and needed to pick up a generator that they couldn't carry home from the site. I don't know why they ran when they saw you...it makes no sense to me."

Bonus question! Did the driver have a previous conviction for:

A. Marijuana possession
B. Nothing (clean record)
C. Loitering
D. Felony Theft

Ok, last one. There's a drought, so there is a temporary ban on outdoor burning. The fire marshall arrives to investigate at the scene of a grass fire just as the fire crew is extinguishing the last of the blaze.

Multiple choice! The landowner said:

A. "Oops! The barbeque got out of control!"
B. "I don't know what happened...I just looked outside and the back 40 was burning!"
C. "There sure has been a lot of lightning in the area."
D. "We're sorry...we won't shoot of any more fireworks. Did we do something wrong?"

I lied. One more. Somehow it is not illegal to shoot fireworks during a burn ban, but there are regulations on the safe storage of fireworks. In such a situation, a fire marshall examined a shed full of fireworks, and found a video camera stored in the shed with the fireworks. Upon receiving permission from the owner to inspect the camera, he found it contained a videocassette.

Multiple choice! The video displayed:

A. Lots of cool fireworks shots
B. A child's birthday party
C. Vacation highlights
D. The owner and his friends breaking into a supermarket at night and stealing cartons of cigarettes

Give up? The answer is always D.

Actualy, one of the changes has been approved, the other 2 that have 2 votes are still pending. In particular, I think #1 passed.

Yes, it looks like there's only 2 votes on 2A, though the only people who responded after 2 was split into 2A and 2B said yes :)

Good point. Could we get someone to correct post 2 in the Rules and Mechanics thread, deleting all references to the Craft Masterwork Item feat? I'm not sure which judge usually maintains that thread.
