When they die? There heart stop to breath, they stop to breath. The cerebral activities die out. After that, the body generally is eaten by worms as they die far from city in hostile lands.

A bit more serious.

Well, they might be ressurected, but that is unlikely at this level. Ressurection cost much. If they aren't, you can start a new PC at the old character level - 2, and that's the only way to have ECL races. (You can retire character too to have access to ECL races).

was it -2? I guess that makes sense. I am looking forward to retiring ao'Thuir, my first character so that I can get an ELC +1 race. So that means I'll have to wait till 4th level though? man he has been playing since near the begining of LEW and is still only 2nd level... 2 games have died slow deaths on him. Tenebrynn is having much better luck with advancement.

I think it is -2, but not sure at 100%. Anyway, the dead and retirement thread in which it was discussed is still in the proposal list in the Archivomatic thread, so I think there havn't been the three official Yes to that rule.

I'm sure it's approved, but none of the judges got around to add it to the Info thread yet.

As for anyone starting similar small vignettes like Rystil: Please do give us at least a shout-out, so we know that there is something more to the thread than "we simply aren't in the Red Dragon at the moment." I can't speak for the other judges, but that was the impression I got from when the threads were started. :)

Sure, will do. I had meant for the IA to stand for Immortality Awakens, indicating that they were nominally part of the adventure, as I had seen done in prior threads before (such as SotD Under Grenton).

D'oh *Slaps forehead* OK, I see that part now. But since the characters were mostly at the inn, I hope you can understand why I didn't make that connection immediately. :)
