It's a simple adventure. My crafter goes out, spends all the time she needs crafting things, and returns. We can probably do it in 2-3 days. (Woho! 10 exp!)

Which is sad, since she should be able to craft stuff in between adventures.

Wow! Someone's actually managed to come up with an adventure that I wouldn't aprove! Had to happen eventually... :)

I agree with Brom's comment, though. Personally, I got about half way through reading the original craft system and said "Note to self: No LEW characters with item creation feats or craft skills." Obviously, there are folks out there who have more interest in crafting than I do, or the systems wouldn't exist, but I've rarely found crafting all that worthwhile even without the additional hurdles.

I try ;)

I don't want magical stuff, just mundane stuff, and that's what gets the biggest shaft. It costs 1/2 price instead of the 1/3 price.

Agreed. Absolutely agreed. However, it has improved substantially since then thanks to Bront's proposal pieces that were accepted.

The problem with allowing mundane items to be crafted as much as the player wants without CP, though, is that there is no XP cost built in. So without limit, a player could sit in the RDI and craft every nonmagic item a player would have bought from Orussus before a mission, selling for perhaps a 30% discount and making a profit of nearly 40% of the base price.

Yes, since I wasn't sure they were actually characters--one of them specifies "Not finished with him yet, a temp character until Creamsteak defines what is going on with LA races and psionics."

I don't know what a "temp character" is, if he wants the character to count against his 3 total characters. Eventhough the issues mentioned have been settled (to my knowledge), the character hasn't been updated to reflect that.

The other I probably should have included since it's been used at least once (he has xp), but I figured the numbers were easy enough to tweak since I provided the raw data too, so I didn't worry about it. For anyone who's curious to the breakdown of the characters on LEW, these are at least very close.

Would it work for you if the only change was that?
Yes, that would help.

The other aspect of the proposal was that there could be a time compression issue. If I keep a character in the forge for X number of RL Days, that's the equivilent to Y days of crafting time. I think that works well if you want to spare craft points.

But yes, if the 1/3rd issue is clairified (I did bump up that proposal), it would be acceptable, and would save some craft points too (since it's off the manufacturing cost, which just got lower).

BTW, I just submitted 2 different adventure proposals. One of them may have spoilers from Festival, so any of my festival players stay out of that one (it's labled in the title).

Not sure when I'll run either, other than one needs Festival to finish. We'll see on the feedback I get and who's in the inn.

I hope there are a few other adventure porposals in the pipeline, as it's going to get crowded in there soon.
