Another thing to consider is whether or not the adventure is completed. My character, Devlin is 3rd level and on his 3rd adventure. Unfortunately for him none of the adventures reached their conclusion so the only treasure he's received is a handful of gold pieces and a masterwork rapier. Not much, but I'm not really complaining because I know one of these days he's gonna hit the motherlode.

Paltin, Ironwolf's comment was a bit of a prompt, but not it wasn't problem. I was always a bit unsure about the amount of the initial payment. I don't have the DMG and tend to play very low magic, low wealth games. I didn't want to shortchange anyone. I had a look at some of the other games for comparison. But I just thought that I would ask to make sure.

Doghead, you're probably fine, particularly if it's a short adventure. If it grows longer, then perhaps they might find some extra loot in a combat or some such.

I think I've handed out 300 in gold per person so far in Festival, probably another 50-100 in loot (Could have been more, but someone's a goodie two shoes ), but I've also given them opertunities for discounts, or to aquire other interesting items. Plus, they're learning culture and get to eat Beer Battered Beef Bits.

Not that I know of, 10 crowns off on a scroll of Shocking grasp and three 1 crown scroll cases for free.

Of course this was a LONG time ago, I scrolled down the page and you mentioned wrapping up the adventure in late september, lol

I'm still having too good of a time to complain.
