Zaeryl is going to be uncomfortable with thinning out the already tiny reward, but I'm going to guess he will be easily outvoted,as usual (and on the river thing too).
Well, there's no need to keep the info in spoilers away from the other GMs, per se--the DCs would be for characters, ideally. This could also help if, for instance, one of your own characters is in Monemvassia and you wanted to limit yourself about what they might know, so you can roll the Knowledge check and then assume they don't know the restManzanita said:I gave this some thought when I was writing up my Monemvassia entry. I debated putting sections in spoiler block and indicating the knowledge check necessary to know it. Eventually, I decided against this....I can't quite remember why.... Perhaps it was because I didn't want to deter other DMs. Perhaps its a good idea. Maybe I should go back through and edit my entries..
Definitely a good idea. I believe I've set the DCs for knowing about the Ashen Talon comparably high, while the informations about the nobles and the Dance of Souls were not very hard.Rystil Arden said:I can certainly come up with my own DCs for my own creations, but I would figure that the creators of other aspects have some idea of how hard it should be to find out details (for instance, in the new Archive, I saw mention of a Thieve's Guild where the GM called out that he doesn't want anyone to be able to find out about the leaders)
Rystil Arden said:Question: Orussus Library. Is there one, and, if so, what is known about it? A definitive answer that nothing is known is just as good for me as anything else, but in some ways, I don't like GMing for players in Orussus because of issues of consistency like this.
