I had an idea for a merfolk only adventure back when we were talking about allowing merfolk.

My idea was that a sacred relic of the merfolk was stolen and taken to the larger of the two inner seas. The group would then need to travel overland to the sea having adventures along the way and then ending with an underwater adventure.

I wanted to play my NPC merfolk cavalier/bard in full plate with a movement rate of 5'

Well I think this has been the quietest weekend in LPF history. :p

Must be something worth discussing in all these threads.

Not exactly buttermilk biscuits... These are really good and easy to make. I use the recipe for more than just biscuits... pigs in a blanket crust and a crust for a casserole.

[sblock=Biscuit Recipe]
2 cups all-purpose flour
3 teaspoons baking powder
3 tablespoons sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 cup shortening (I prefer to use margarine)
1 egg
Enough milk to bring up to just under 3/4 cup

1. Stir flour, baking powder, sugar and salt into a large bowl
2. Cut in shortening/margarine with a pastry blender or fork until mixture
resembles cornmeal
3. Break egg into measuring cup and add milk up to 2/3-3/4 cup - mix well
with fork; pour into flour mixture - stir lightly with fork until a soft
puffy dough forms
4. Turn out onto floured surface. Knead lightly about 20 turn.
5. Divide dough in half. Pat each half into a circle (about 1/2 inch thick).
Cut each circle into 6 wedges.
6. Place each wedge 1 inch apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in a 450F
oven for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown [/sblock]
