Not really. Time in the DWI is nebulous and flexes like rubber instead of breaking.

Hi all. Under "Adding spells to a wizards spell-book", on page 219, there is a service mentioned where you can be charged half the writing cost for copying a spell from another wizards spell-book into your own.

I haven't seen anything indicating this service is disallowed, so as long as I succeed in my %rolls, can I use said service? I understand this wouldn't be a service available everywhere, but I go the impression that Arcane Row is a pretty high level magic location given the powerful items they have available etc.

I think on LPF it would need to be gotten from another Player Character, not just from an arbitrary NPC.

There is a section on the wiki that goes into detail on your options for scribing spells into your book. Check out Learning Spells. That should answer your questions better than I could do here.
