Generating Opportunity Attacks (BM Ranger)

Yes, you can gain Misdirected Mark as one of your two at will powers if you are a hybrid.

Yes, hybrid are up and fully functioning as of the release of PHB3.

Yes, you can multiclass as well. This gives you acces to all three classes feats. Your two hybrid classes and your multiclass class.

Daggermaster is a Paragon Path. The above build gained access to it via Multi classing into rogue. So technically you are a (Tempest) Fighter/Ranger hybrid multi-classed into rogue with a Daggermaster Paragon Path. _It should be far more engaging than a pure ranger, which is renowned as being the most basic class.

Very nice...if I start as a Human, like I was planning to, then I'll have an extra At-Will power that I can swap out to a hybrid class. I have a feeling that this is going to be a very feat-heavy build, so the extra feat as Human will be golden too...I'll have to make a list of the ones that could prove to be the most useful and start narrowing down what feats I can actually afford to have lol...

I was trying to use a friends laptop to build my character last night(his character builder should be current to the April update), but I couldn't figure out where the options for hybrid classing him were at. Is it under the multiclass feats somewhere, or somewhere else?

This is throwing lots of people (including me!); it's on the first page where you choose your class. Hybrid is one of the options.

As a programmer I am curious why this is hard to find.... I mean when you choose your class is when you need to be chosing to be a hybrid. Where else would it be?

When you are given the option the otion to select a class scroll down past the ph1 and ph2 classes. Close to the top of the ph3 class list is the Hybrid option. After selecting this you will be asked to choose the two classes you wish to combine.

The Hybrid Talent option and Multiclass are under the feats section.

Awesome, thanks! I guess I just assumed it was completely feat based, clumped somewhere under the multiclass feats. I'll try again at making my character later today.

Go Sharpshooter, take Beast Protector, MC Shaman, get Sudden Call. Use your beast and the Shaman spirit as a wall. Either they go around to attack you, and if you're an Elf you will be faster then most monsters. Free action resummon the Shaman Spirit every round to block the monster, move your beast to block, repeat. Not attacking your beast or the spirit they just get plinked to death. Attack and provoke OAs.

Ok, so I found the option for a hybrid class, but I apparently can't be a Beastmaster Ranger if I'm a hybrid...? I'm pretty hellbent on taking a pet this time around, so if I go BM is my only multi-classing/hybrid option to take a Multiclass feat/path and that's it?
