I pre-order from them all the time (I've pre-ordered the 4E gift set too) and, yes, that's a true statement.

You won't be charged for the purchase until the shipping date arrives. Just make sure you have the funds available by that date or a day or two before (so, around June 3rd or so) and you'll be fine. Cancel at any time. Plus, you lock in the cheapest price that way. If the price goes down, you get that cheaper price. If it goes up, you still have it at your original cheaper price. Plus the 5% pre-order discount which takes a bite out of the shipping.
