[GG] A Game of Gods (IC, Reborn)

Yalla follows in a distance, hidden & silent

[OoC: Trying to keep the difference 30 ft. If Ogres get out of range Yalla'll keep the ogres in sight. If they almost get out sight she'll sack hidden & silent to catch up.]

While moving forward, Rebecca the dragon-lady turns back into her normal human form so she is better equiped for spell-smacking, and follows in aprox 10' behind Big-boy (Tzz'Arch)

OOC: Okay, four players left! Terraism's last post was in this thread, almost a month ago, does anybody know what happened to him?

I will keep him and his cohort on as NPC's, as well as Tzz'Arch. I do not think they will talk a lot but they will fight along and keep the thread going when the speed is down.

My headache is related to stress for exams. I have just one to go on thursday and then I've got a month of free time (more or less) beforee my final examantions. So I think my headache problems will soon be over, unfortunatly it prevented me from doing too much on my PC during the weekend and on monday, as well as today, so I do not have a map yet. I will start the combat by describing it though.

IC: You all follow the ogres, some stealthy, some not. The ogres aren't very stealthy themselves, screaming all kind of things as the run along. Starngely enough you do not encounter any resistance along the way. After many tunnels and halls that all serve one purpose or another, you finally arrive in a round room that has two exits, one where you are coing from and one hallway that slopes down heavily. In the room you see an altar, a throne, two tabels and 8 chairs. The tables are turned over, the chairs are chucked in one corner and behind the throne, tables and altar are obviously ogres. You notice them by the amount of weaponry they have on them, with some ranged weapons too. The ogres that you were chasing duck for cover behind one of the tables. You are now at the entrance of the room, with all sorts of weapons being aimed at you.

The eternal queation now arises....

WHAT DO YOU DO?? The ogres haven't spotted Yalla yet, and Matthias and Ket that were at the end of the line haven't been discovered yet. The ogres have the surprise rouns, after that, Initiative will be rolled.

OOC: biertje??, i have another flashback, thim, do you remember the gnome squads in your campaign??

IC: alak heads for cover and starts firing arrows at every thing he sees moving behind the "barricade"

hehehehe, only this time there aren't any gnomesquads there to help you, not thta they were much help back then.... Ow BTW, I'm probably able to make it on saturday, it's now a 50/50 chance, I'll know more tonight.

Drakon, now seriously pissed off because the incompetent Dragonspawn has led him in this situation curses.

However, he wants this fight to be over soon, so he casts fireball where he can hit the most Ogres at once.

Rebecca steps backwards and casts haste on herself, followed by a shadow conjuration, which she uses to fire 2 fiery bolts at an ogre with a ranged weapon who's within 200'

OOC: Shadow conjuration, they make a will save DC 22 to recognize the Flame Arrows as shadowy, and 1 reflex save for each bolt (DC 22).
Each bolt does 4d6 fire damage. half if they make reflex save, 1/5 if they make will save.

Yalla gets in 30 feet within the ogres, in such a way that she can fire without having to deal with the cover. When in position she fires her arrows at one of the ogre.

Heya guys, I'm just back form a busy easter weekend. I made you a map and I'll get to the combat tomorrow morning when I wake up (if all goes to plan that should be around noon).

Alak, as you can see on the map, the only real cover are the tables, but the ogres are allready behind that. the next best thing is hiding behind the corner.

Yalla, tyhe ogres always have cover because they put the tables so that they formed a corner.

Drakon, you cannot actually make out where most of the ogres are. you just know that there are lots of them, and not all look like regular ogres judging on their better equipment.

OOC: I'm looking for some dirty tricks here, something out of the ordinary. I'll be very awarding to original plans.
