Ghostwalk

How is the source material in Ghostwalk? Is worth grabbing if you don't plan on making a charcter for this setting? Are the monsters, magic items, etc. worth it?

Some of the monsters are pretty good. Lots of templates. However, the whole book is truly devoted to a Ghostwalk campaign. The city is really well laid out. Lots of little nooks and crannies to explore. My crew was put up in the best hotel (complete with snotty concierge) by a benefactor they have yet to figure out. The rules changes are comprehensive and well thought out. Its a good setting that only suffered from being on the 3.0-3.5 edge. That being said, the 3.5 conversion is VERY easy.

I've been happy with my copy of Ghostwalk from day one.

However, convincing my group of gamers to switch campaigns has been a tale of relentless upset.

So, I'm trying my best to get Ghostwalk integrated into my campaign world.

I love the art, I love the concept, and I really wish I could play it.

Too bad I'm with a group that only does long length campaigns.
