Heh. Ok, on our Honeymoon Suzi and I watched a show about "The Search for the Giant Squid" and we're looking forward to seeing it at the end, but it never happend.

At that time I said they should, "Hold out a fish and say, 'Here, Squidy, Squidy, Squidy, if they want a Giant Squid to show up."

Turns out, I was right. Mostly. :)

It's about time. This makes me truly happy, because the giant squid is the real sea monster, and it's about time we learned more about their behavior.

Demiurge out.

Just the fact that we have suspected, and then pretty much known, the giant squid to exist for years without being able to capture it on film opens the imagination to all sorts of legendary monsters.

Of course, the ocean is a big place, and largely unexplored. So I'm not saying this convinces me that bigfoot is real, but I'm willing to allow for the chance that there is an explanation for the Loch Ness Monster.

Seems like a lot of trouble to go to just for some calimari.
Actually, squid researchers have tried making calamari out of giant squid, and reported that it tasted terrible. Too much ammonia in the flesh, now theorized to help the huge creature remain buoyant.

And now you know...

Demiurge out.
