Gift Ideas?

The funky jewelry place definately looks very cool - it's the sort of place I try to get the husband to shop for me... I think he's just learning that no matter what most women (even geeky women!) say they want for Christmas, they really want jewelry.

I really, really, really like casual jewelry - stuff I can wear with jeans. I also think that the day spa thing is a great, great idea... or the idea of buying a bunch of "pretty supplies" and a gift certificate to a fancy place to eat. THAT would totally win me over. [hint, hint] I can't seem to BEG The Universe to put on a tie to take me out to eat! Ugh! [/hint, hint]

I, on the other hand, spent the morning at an adorable little shop in Dupont Circle in DC called Bedazzled making a bracelet for my step sister for Christmas. What a fun way to shop!

Also - I can't tell you how adorable it is that der_kluge and Cthulhu's Librarian have a shopping date! *giggle*

We're going to Tahiti in January, and my wife HATES flying. She said the only way she'd survive the 10-hour flight from L.A. is if she could spend the whole time watching Gilmore Girls on a video ipod...

I like to shop, I just don't like to shop for clothes so much.

If you go to the right nail salon, you won't need the strippers.
