It's true. 25% of my shopping budget for my wife is already taken care of before I leave the house to shop. There were a couple items that she bought herself and said, "I wanted this stuff for Christmas and I found it on sale. So just mark that and the cash off my list."

So I'm just some perfume, panties and a couple other items away from being done! That'll all get taken care of this afternoon when Samantha the Red and I go on the "Shopping Odessy - 2005".

Just finished my shopping this weekend; spent about $150.00 more than I had planned, so not too bad. My wife likes jewelry, but is VERY rough on hers (we make more repairs than purchases), and I've forbidden any more animals (and she STILL brings home a rescue-hamster, so that was part of her Christmas), so most of Christmas is a lot of little convenience stuff for her - Bath and Body, Kirkland's (a middle-class boutique), gift certif's for clothing stores, etc.

For my friends, I took them to see Lion,Witch & the Wardrobe. Worked out pretty well, except for one minor detail.

Husbands, what are you getting your wives for Christmas this year? I need some ideas.

edit: Well, I didn't mean to exclude girlfriends. Hell, even mistresses for that matter. I'm just stumped as to what to get my wife, so I'm looking for ideas.

Do not get her the same thing you would get your mother or your sister,especially if she is a different figure type or coloring. I tended to ,"forget", many of my husband's early gifts at his mother's house,since they looked great on her and horrible on me.

I came home today, and my wife was talking about her day, and she throws in there, "so I'm at the mall, in this line, near the kiosks, and this guy asks me if I wanted a phone, and so I said, as a matter of fact".


So, I had to tell her that I already got her a phone, so she's going to take the one she got back. Fortunately, she has 14 days to return it. So, that's good.
