Notes: Lance of Disruption is converted from the 2e Spells & Magic book. These spells are mostly designed to be effective on the astral plane.

This spell is used to guard against treachery during battlefield negotiations. When you cast it a glowing red sphere of energy appears above the target’s head, glowing balefully. As long as the target is within range the sphere will wait to trigger.
If the subject of the spell attacks, including anything that deals damage or requires a saving throw, the sphere triggers, exploding downward in a wave of force dealing 5d4 hp of damage (Ref negates).

Spell Resistance: Yes
A lance of disruption is a beam of concussive force that lashes out from your hand in a path five feet wide and 60’ long. The lance deals 5d4+2/level hp of damage (max of 5d4+20). You may choose to deal subdual damage rather than real damage with your lance of disruption. A lance of disruption ignores all object hardness.

Mind Storm

Targets: All creatures in a 20’ burst
Duration: 1 round/level
Saving Throw: Will partial (see text)
Spell Resistance: Yes
This spell causes a shock to the astral medium, causing a violent but localized psychic windstorm. All characters affected are thrown back away from the caster 1d12x10’, and additionally must make Will saves or be disoriented by the mind storm, suffering 1d4 points each of Int, Wis and Cha damage.
Mind Storm functions only on the astral plane.

Range: Close (25’ +5’/2 levels)
Area: 20’ radius burst
Duration: 1d4 rounds
Saving Throw: Will partial (see text)
Spell Resistance: Yes
You cause the medium of astral space to change to a hostile form, with tendrils of baleful ectoplasm that engulf your foes and disrupt their concentration. Creatures in the area affected can move only 10’ per round (this is a full round action; a standard action nets a character 5’; no 5’ steps are allowed, obviously). The tendrils are distracting and sting creatures within constantly; any attempt to cast a spell or manifest a power requires a concentration check, DC17. (If another concentration check is required the creature must make both.)
