Giving away the ENnies books.

Why not send these books overseas to the fine military folks from various countries who are away from home and still try to get games in? That's how I would certainly like the books we submitted to be given away.

If not there, raffle/run a charity auction for them. I will help if you need some.

I do 500 volunteer hours a year. What made you decide that sin't enough for charity?

I'll ask that folks please keep this thread focused on fun ways to give them away, and let Alsih2o decide the venue. Not to veer into unwanted territory. . . but while sending books to military folks is a fine idea, it's up to each individual to decide if that's something they want to do. I think the goal here is to get them to EN Worlders.

If anyone wants to continue this discussion further, please send me an email instead of using this thread.

Fun ones in the past that were easy to be involved in were post in a thread once and the awarder rolled a percentage die and gave it to the person whose thread post matched the number. Quick and easy to execute and judge.

I need to retract my first post.

I will honor the contests already started but there will be no more contests started and no more give-aways by me.

My apologies.

I hope that this isn't a side effect of some of the petty arguments in some of the threads you started. It would be a shame if the fun you are trying to have was spoiled by some stupid online arguements.

No offense intended there, I just was throwing out an idea. I even offered to help. I haven't read any of the other threads, so I don't know what those comments are about, but they are your books by all means and you are certainly entitled to do with them as you will.

Well, as long as we are on "No offense" grounds...

No offense, but if that is how you want the books distributed why didn't YOU distribute them that way? Why is that what I should do but not what you should have done?
