Giving something back to humans

Here's another vote for Able Learner. It marks humans, regardless of profession, as the most versatile race in the game.

I'd let them take able learner, a skill focus or one of those +2/+2 two skill boost feats...

Do the same thing for half elves. Like anyones actually going to play one. :D

Shaping the Self (Genjitsu) has racial levels for humans where the racial features have to do with skills (bonuses for dealing with high DCs) and survival in harsh conditions- fire or cold resistance 3, +2 on survival, +4 on suffocation, and similar.

Make all skills class skills for them.

Toatlly agree!!!! In the PHB humans ALREADY get an extra skill point at every level cause it says that humans strive to learn all they can and are able to learn with ease. By giving humans the ability to have all skills it just proves that humans learn easily. Sure some might say that this would be broken, but they wont be able to go and "max out" their skills like other classes. This just means that they can do a little of everything but not be the best at it. kinda like a bard or paladin is a little of everything but isnt good at any one set thing. plz dont turn this thread into how bards or paladin are/arent good

Personally, I like a 5% XP bonus.

In my games, following your Favored Class (Gestalt, technically) grants a 10% XP bonus; Humans (and half-humans) get to use their highest-level Gestalt for this purpose, and pure Humans also get an additional 5% at every level.
