Glitterdust and invisibility...

I don't have a PhB with me right now, but glitterdust reveals creatures that are invisibile...

Well, what if a creature covered with glitterdust casts invisibility on himself? Does the glitterdust turn invisible? Glitterdust REVEALS invis, but it doesn't say that it PREVENTS BECOMING invisible.

Any thought? Pointers to the rules?

Glitterdust states that it negates invisibility by outlining the target in little sparkles. Light sources cannot be rendered invisible by any means. So, recasting invisibility gains you nothing.

In fact, based on the spell description, you may remain invisible if hit with Glitterdust. It's just that everyone knows where you are because of the outlining of sparkles that cling to you.

Well the spell states "All within the area are covered by the dust, which cannot be removed and continues to sparkle until it fades."

I would say that that as long as the dust is on you, you will be revealed until the duration is up. If you cast invisibility again, you are instantly revealed. (Basically you are a sparkling humanoid outline for the duration of the spell.)
