Go Heels!

As for the "want fries with that?" line...as a UNC grad I know it well, and I always answer it like this, "Of course, peasant! I paid for the combo! Don't make me put in a bad word with your CEO when we tee off on Friday!"

You really shouldn't talk to your store manager like that, unless you really want to get stuck cleaning the grill at the end of your shift. :)

Isn't that supposed to be the Duke grad's line?

Certainly not! The Dookie wouldn't stick around NC long enough to know who did what job anyway...they are imported ya know.

Nice try, but I phrased the context to account for that move. :) You guys must be fans from afar, because the Duke/UNC war is far too bitter and vicious and uppity for this stuff. Duke and UNC grads would argue over anything, but not menial labor*. Also green fire would shoot out of the monitor at me when I read the text, etc.
*You can tell I am an uppity UNC fan because I did not take the cheap shot at NCSU right there.

But, I should say that if you did act/type/ruin my monitor like that, I would hardly write to you like I do here ;) This is a nice forum and all.

Emphasis mine. The name fits. ;)

In this area, you're either for Carolina or against Duke. That's all you need to know. :)

Like we care what they think! :p

My family could start its own civil war..... half are for Carolina, the other half who don't know better[sic] are for [P]uke.

I was rooting for the Fighting Illini for two reasons:
1. My fiance is an Illinois graduate, so rooting against them would jepordize the wedding! :)
2. Being a monster MU fan, I hate KU and anything associated with it, so I REALLY didn't want to see Roy win. Yeah, it's childish, but most rivalries are! I was even a fan of NC before they hired Roy!

No you really didn't, your store manager knows as well as we do that you aren't hitting the links with Charlie Bell on your day off.

*snort*

I am a born & bred (and alum) Buckeye.

Your little fracas on Tobacco Rd. is the equivalent of Grenada in the rivalry/war analogy. :)
