Goblin gods (Khurgorbaeyag, Nomog-Geaya, and Bargrivyek)

Sitting with the MM2 in front of me (O.K. It's actually to my right, but that's not the point.) it clearly says under the outsider entry on page 9.

Feats: 1 + 1 per 4 HD.

I think it has always been this way, and the entry in the MM was a typo. I'm sure it's one of things they will fix in the revision...

hmm, ok then. i think i may also have to give maglubiyet another feat (i'll look at it).

As for the BAB's and saves, and I have mentioned this before, look on 'Table 1-1: Epic Saves and Epic Attack Bonuses' on page 6 of your ELH. You do have the ELH right? I mentioned it back in the Mags thread. But to make a long story short, take the number of epic character levels (above level 20, since these here have 20 outsider HD, that means all of them) and divide them by 2 to get their EAB (Epic Attack Bonus) and their Epic Save bonuses. Since these deities have 40 character levels, that means an EAB of +20, and a save bonus of +20.
Edit: By the way, it is also mentioned on page 26 of Deities and Demigods.

The thing is, without the ELH, one can't make normal non-draconic deities.

i do have the ELH, but i do not bring it to work (where i do most of my work here, hehehe). i did find it on the bottom of page 26 in the DDG like you said, though. i don't know why they did it that way. a blanket bonus of +40 would hurt a 20 Ftr/20 Rgr but it would be awesome for a 20 Rog/20 Wiz. i'll have to rexamine some things before i decide to use this. i may have to adjust Mags, too. of course, if you're right, then that does make this thing a whole lot easier.

true, true... good point. i'm going to make sure that that's what they did for the DDG gods before i change it to that way, but the lazy man in me seems to be coming around to your point of view on that little subject.

Don't bother, I've allready checked, they did it the ELH way, it even says so on page 26 of deities and demigods.

hmm, so i went back and did some figuring... and you're exactly right. in fact, i went back over my Maglubiyet conversion and... i even did it right for him too (except i must have missed his Iron Will, the Will save was off by 2). damn, now that's weird. i must have done it the way you told me, then forgot about it. c'est la vie, the right way is easier anyway, just remind me when i start another deity, so i don't act like such an ass.

that would make the correct BAB and saves for these guys:

Base Attack Bonus: (not including feats, SDAs, ability modifiers, and magical weapon bonus)
Khur would have an attack bonus of +20 (20-HD outsider) +10 (divine bonus) -1 (size) +20 (40 epic levels), for a total BAB of +49.
Nomog would have an attack bonus of +20 (20-HD outsider) +10 (divine bonus) -1 (size) +20 (40 epic levels), for a total BAB of +49.
Barg would have an attack bonus of +20 (20-HD outsider) +10 (divine bonus) +20 (40 epic levels), for a total BAB of +50.

Saves: (not including feats)
Khur:
Fort: +12 (outsider) +9 (Con) +10 (divine) +20 (40 epic levels) = +51
Ref: +12 (outsider) +9 (Dex) +10 (divine) +20 (40 epic levels) = +51
Will: +12 (outsider) +6 (Wis) +10 (divine) +20 (40 epic levels) = +48
Nomog:
Fort: +12 (outsider) +10 (Con) +10 (divine) +20 (40 epic levels) = +52

Wll, you see, Barghest's are LE, Goblins are LE. Barghest's resemble goblins when walking on two legs, and their names even start with the same four letters as the weaker of the goblin gods... so the association just comes naturally...

i decided to give Barg the War domain in addition to the ones he has already. just because he's the "peacekeeper" doesn't mean it doesn't fit - in fact, he's all for warfare as long as the goblins aren't fighting each other! keep in mind, he's also the god of territory.

i hope to have something to show for these gods today - if not, then certainly tomorrow.
