Goblins, the final PHB3 race?

Goblins as a PC race? Sure thing, but only if they're Pathfinder goblins. After I came across Paizo's take, I can never think of goblins the same again. Ditto with kobolds.

While I'd love to see Goblins as a playable race, I think they should come together with Hobgoblins and Bugbear to complete the Eberron "playable races". Just giving us Goblins seems shortsighted and impopular. But then, we are getting one Gith but not another...

It was probably that same philosophy that made them hold back the gnomes, halforks, bards, druids, barbarians, and sorcerers for PH2, and the monks for PH3. Never give the players everything they want when they want it... because they won't buy the next thing otherwise.

Here I thought it was an effort to keep the PHB under 500 pages.

Though, I wouldn't mind if some of them were introduced with Dragon articles instead of being in a PHB.
