I don't think it would necessarily be done via Templates. Throwing a Mountain is a Legendary [Strength] Action for a being with a certain strength score - I can't recall exactly off the top of my head but for argument's sake lets say Strength 40. I think Thor with his Belt (+6*) gives him Strength 40. Base 24 (Level 20 Barbarian), +10 (Divine Rank 5) = 34, +6 using the Belt.

*Strength 30 to non-immortals.

As regards the Hekatonkeres, you have to understand their role in the Titanomachy. The three Hekatonkeres were enough to swing the battle between Gods and Titans. So they have to be at least on par with Zeus = Challenge Rating 36. That gives them 160 Hit Dice...which in turn gives them a Multi-attack damage of average 96d8 (60%) to be split among its various attacks and no I would not give it 100 attacks just that it can attack all adjacent targets within reach and throw boulders at all targets within range. Maybe 3 attacks, some combination of 191 (32d10+15) melee slashing damage or 127 (32d6+15) reach = its space, ranged bludgeoning damage (range is its space x10). Its Legendary Reactions would deal 10 dice, escalating from d4, d6, d8, d10, d12 to d20* (tentacle grab, babbling confusion etc...up to some sort of whirlwind of stone movement as it churns through the ground for the bigger Legendary Reactions).

*Often 2d10 instead of the d20

So monsters do no necessarily need a template unless you are converting an existing monster (Giant Boar to Legendary Giant Boar, etc.). Of course we could have a 6d 'Super'-Hekatonkeres and then apply the Super template (the idealized form of that being in all timelines - third extension of the Paragon, Amidah chain) if we want the Hekatonkeres to be tossing Universes instead of just Mountains...but I am sure no one would be crazy enough to build something like that.

Sadly no beta release yet amigo. I asked Backers (in Kickstarter and here) last Friday if they wanted the Beta Tuesday (today). I said I'd rather wait a while but would go with the majority. They voted 65% they were happy to wait.

I recently started reformatting some stuff and the Beta would not have been as cohesive as I ideally wanted, which would have unfairly rendered a lot of backer feedback obsolete..

They also voted 85% to have the Epic Magic in the Player's Guide.

I have been crazy busy these past few days but should have a Thor preview tomorrow.

Hey Arcanist amigo. I would say the 384-400 Page Player's Guide should be released around 8-15th of February. I won't be able to get much done a few days either side of Christmas, but after that 6 weeks should be more than enough - the only delay I can foresee would be if my eye surgery gets scheduled during that time - but still no timetable on when that will start.

Will the trials/difficulties of crossing the Kuvatchim be similar to the 3.5 IH in the 5e God Rules, or do you have something else planned entirely for the crossing into the Akashic Library?

Hey amigo! Merry Christmas everyone!

I only recently determined the details for Dimensions 1.5 to 6. So I am not sure exactly if I will have the same traits for the higher dimensions and borders such as Kuvachim or the Akashic Wall.

They do get progressively more dangerous. I'm sure I will have fun cooking up a few surprises for Player Characters though.

Might also try and sneak in one Creature Template for each plane into the Epic Campain book...if I can.

(I vaguely remember Gargantuan-sized fleas as an enemy but I might be making that up.)

I'm wondering if you can share a bit more info about the Apocalypse Camel and it's accompanying Adventure Bestiary,

Well as an Overview it should be a 160-ish* page book with 35-40 new monsters. So about half the book is the adventure and half is devoted to new monsters. So a Bestiary portion almost as big as my 3.5 Epic Bestiary - albeit with a narrower focus.

*you know my page counts tend to explode.

Also I should have a set of Monster cards accompanying the Apocalypse Camel book.

The Adventure itself will be for Epic Tier characters up to Divine Ranks 2-3. Fighting the Camel head on is probably a battle for a party of Divine Rank 4 characters but that would bypass most of the actual adventure content.

Well there are monstrous parasites and insects living on the camel - such as Giga Fleas. Plus it's so big you can fit inside its arteries and battle the inhabitants there. Plus there are two exiled Archdukes of Hell and their servants living in fortresses inside the Camel's volcanic humps.

Everything going well. I am nearly finished the extensive fixes to the Purviews (just wasn't happy with some stuff). Then I will take a week to finish off the 8 Grand Purviews: Time, Fate etc.

Then about a week or so to finish the Powers chapter and then 1-2 weeks to finish the Magic chapter.

After that just a week reading over double-checking everything and the PDF will be ready.

I did come up with some new ideas for the Epic Campaigns book. Some cool new Factions you can drop in to your game right away and a crazy new Adventure primarily designed for Divine Rank 1 characters (but scalable for Epic Tier and Divine Rank 2). But these things are only at the notebook stage until I get this first pdf released in February.
