After a few years of playing 4E, our group has decided to go back to 3.5/try out pathfinder.
Despite the usual research (websearch) and Paizo site reading, I don't have a solid grasp on what's significantly different between pathfinder and 3.5. and what I need start playing/convert my group's old 3.5 characters to pathfinder characters. The backwards compatibility of pathfinder leaves me hazy on what's different.
Is there a thorough summary someplace that details the differences between pathfinder and 3.5? A thread or blog would be helpful.
Also, what's the difference between an advanced base class and an advanced core class?
